Hey Maine, do you feel it! Beach time is coming.

Whoa spring.
We all know how unpredictable it can be. This session was planned months in advance, and I had only one day to make it happen. That morning was beautiful. Seventy and sunny.
But in true spring fashion, that changed fast.
Lucky thing though, this family knows how to make lemons out of lemonade. Or whatever the saying is.
It was cold, and windy, and memorable. They were troopers, and happy despite the imperfections.
What better thing to be as a family, but happy troopers who smile through imperfections.
I hope when they see these pictures, that is what they feel.
Five sessions, five thousand miles.
I have got to do newborn photos for both these babies and watch this family change and grow. It is an honor to be trusted with this memories.

The warm spell this week has me hopeful/dreaming of the warm evenings when we can do photo sessions on the beach! If you haven’t scheduled your session for spring/summer, NOW IS THE TIME.

Portland Mamas,
You don’t have to stress newborn photos. These photos (and many more) were taken in 45 minutes in their home. Happy baby, happy mama, timeless keepsakes.
If you are expecting, let’s plan your session!

Hey Portland, your babies are little NOW. Don’t wait until summer to schedule your photo session.
When my kids were little, my best memories with them were at home. Reading books, bath time, playing in bed.
As a photographer I find the my clients find loads of value in their documentary photos. Of course we all want those epic photos on the beach, but the real memories are made here.
