There isn’t much that needs to be said about this cuteness. This sweet mama wanted to document her and her boy’s favorite time of day. I think it is pretty obvious that this kiddo loves waking up from his nap to some snuggles and milk. What a special thing to have as a keepsake!

This amazing lady offers support services to expectant and new moms in Mid-Coast Maine. She has day-time care, overnight care, and wait for it…MEAL PREP. We all know how hard it is to take care of yourself while you are busy taking care of a new human. Supportive women like Mary step in, and care for YOU. Let that soak in for a moment. Another adult, in charge of your needs, whether that mean tending to baby so you can shower and nap, or making you meals.
And to be completely honest and transparent here, I don’t get anything for writing this post. I just wholeheartedly believe that what she does is big, and everyone should know about it.
So next time someone you know is expecting, let’s skip the onesie and bottle warmer. The last thing we need is more stuff. I have this memory of being a new mom. We had these yellow curtains and in the morning my bedroom would glow. The morning was the happiest time for my baby, and I loved every single morning I had with him. I was hyperaware of how limited those days would be. I remember wanting to document them, and being embarrassed to ask someone to come to my bedroom to take photos. Ten years ago, this wasn’t a thing. Or at least I didn’t know it was thing.
When I put out a model call a few months back, this is exactly what I was trying to capture. I want to provide these memories to other women. I want them to be comfortable to invite me into their homes because THESE memories are worth capturing.
