This beautiful mom had so many things going on, but was completely relaxed and full of grace. (I would love to know your secrets, Katrina.)

I have been thinking a lot about memories, and how we keep them. I have to admit, I have been slacking in taking photos of my own children. To be honest I get burned out. Or they get annoyed with me.
But after having two solid months of VERY few photos, I decided it was time to get out of my rut with a challenge. One photo, every hour, on the hour. Here is my day (minus a few hours because my kids were in school.) I want to see your day too! Post here, in the comments, or inbox me! ❤ I would like to do this monthly, to try and capture more of what our daily life looks like. It is amazing to see the difference a month makes.

Nursing toddlers comes with lots of giggles and kissing feet.

I did an entire family session for these two, but I was so taken by how much fun they were that I just want to share this one. Because this one photo sums them up beautifully. Honestly, they couldn’t even look at each other without laughing.

I have been lucky enough to document so many milestones for this family over the years. So instead of talking about how sweet and cute they are, I just want to share some feedback I received from Leigh.
“I saw some photos of an event where Ashely had photographed some friends of mine. I was immediately drawn to her artful, yet journalistic and real style. Nothing overly posed, yet beautifully capturing the pure essence of each moment. She’s flexible and unobtrusive. She also fully understands the realities of working with a family and rolls with it!”
