We recently moved, and my “studio” is under construction. So set ups have been in my living room- but hey, we get it done! Having all these cute babies in my home is a such a treat.

Baby Girl | Portland Maine Baby Photos

I love big babies.

I had a big baby too.

Ten pounds.

I don’t know how that happened.

I could barely walk for weeks afterwards.

I didn’t get baby photos.

I was afraid to drag my mess of, and all my insecurities as a new mom out into public to be documented.

That is why it is so important to me, that when a new mom comes to my studio, she is comfortable.

It is so important that you know the process BEFORE you walk in my door.

And when you arrive, that you are welcomed to make yourself at home.

I have clients who are extremely excited new moms who videotape their entire session on their phones.

And I have had moms who fall asleep on my couch.

There are no expectations here.

Just love.

When my kids were little, my best memories with them were at home. Reading books, bath time, playing in bed.

As a photographer I find the my clients find loads of value in their documentary photos. Of course we all want those epic photos on the beach, but the real memories are made here.
