We’ll start our morning off with an Earth Day dance party to celebrate the day, then continue celebrating with mud pie making, seed planting, and a puppet show about a man who planted trees. “We’re proud to announce that this event marks the release of A Monarch Butterfly Story, written by Melissa Kim and illustrated by Jada Fitch. It is the latest book in the series “Wildlife on the Move” published in partnership with Islandport Press. The goal of the series is to bring well-written, engaging stories about wildlife migration, conservation, and respectful human interaction with nature to a Pre-K through second grade audience. Melissa and Jada will be available to sign copies of the book.”
