This session was months in the making. Sometime with the military, schedules are crazy. So Amber was SO excited when we were finally able to all get together and do her engagement session.
They were so happy.
And honestly- I have never worked with a sweeter woman.
Some people build you up, just by being themselves. And was exactly how she is.
Thanks Amber!

My friend’s husband was gone with work (Yay Military Life) during the birth of their son, so I offered to photograph her birth for them.
I received a call saying it was time, and she would be heading to the hospital. We live on the same street, and the hospital is nearby, so I told her I would be five minutes behind her.
And I was.
As I drove across the bridge there was traffic.
I was so frustrated, there is never traffic.
But as I pulled closer I saw there was a minivan pulled over on the side of the bridge.
HER MINIVAN.
Of course it was surrounded by military police and they wouldn’t let me pull over.

Can you imagine!?
This strong, amazing, beautiful woman DELIVERED HER OWN BABY on the side of the road.
I followed them to the hospital and took a few photos of Baby to send to Dad.
So welcome to the world Finn. You have quite the story already.

These two love birds never had a formal wedding, so a few years later we recreated their wedding. Isn’t she perfect?!

The Z Family found me through a mutual friend, and decided to book a session during their vacation. What a great souvenir to take home!? They ended up ordering lots of prints, and a HUGE canvas. I think it is the best way to take the beach home with you. Do you know anyone vacationing in Hawaii? Pass along my name!
