Cuteness Overload

Every year my family books a formal session with a professional photographer.
I love them. I treasure them. I get to be in the photos with the kids, and that is everything to me.
But, it is the day to day stuff that get me.
I love remembering how she gives her dolls pedicures.
I love seeing the everyday. The everyday is what fades from our memories, but what matters most.
So it doesn’t matter if all you have is your cellphone, or if you have a big fancy DSLR, take those photos.
Keep those memories.
You will be happy you did.
Things you should do for yourself on Mother’s Day:
1. Go to Whole Foods and get breakfast at their buffet (way better than the burnt toast your kids will make.) While you are there, just go ahead and get a burrito, and a take-and-bake pizza. Boom no cooking all day.
2. Schedule a massage with Kate Nicholson Wellness.
3. Go to Jai Yoga and self care, or maybe just a walk.
4. Maybe a mani/pedi.
5. Get the kids outside. They are way less needy when they are in nature.
6. Keep expectations low. I mean…
7. Honor the moms, grans, and aunts in your life with a little love note.
8. Schedule a photo session (duh.) You deserve a keepsake of this time in your life.

Do you remember the floppy disk?
How about the VCR? CDs?
Technology is changing. FAST.
So when you purchase your digital files from me (for right now) I deliver a beautiful, custom, USB.
BUT, I also recommend you back up your files. Both on your hard drive, but also online.
That way you have THREE different files for each image.
As technology changes, you just might need to convert these in the future.
So you know, print your artwork.
You are never going to look back at your photo albums and say, “I wish I didn’t take so many pictures.”
