There will come a day when you pick up your child, and put him down for the last time. I didn’t know it was my last time, and it is a damn good thing, because it would have broken my heart into a million pieces. He turned ten this month and when I did his photos it hit me.

The warm spell this week has me hopeful/dreaming of the warm evenings when we can do photo sessions on the beach! If you haven’t scheduled your session for spring/summer, NOW IS THE TIME.

Lollipops
Ellie is a kid who has to be occupied all.the.time. I am sharing her newest obsession (she LOVES to cook) because the recipes I found didn’t harden. After googling, and a couple of tries we got it figured out! It was easy and she loved it.
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons flavored extract (We love Raspberry or Lime.)
- Assorted sprinkles or candy
- Lollipop sticks
- Parchment Paper
- Stir together sugar, water, and corn syrup in a pain and bring to boil.
- Once it starts boiling DO NOT STIR IT. Let it boil for 7 minutes.
- Place pot in a sink of iceboater for 15 seconds.
- Stir in flavor.
- WORK QUICK! Spoon candy onto parchment paper and place sticks and decorations on top.
- DONE
